Alicanta Knits

Hice mi segundo amigurumi como regalo de navidad para mi sobrina Emilia, por encargo. El patrón se llama Gatitos Multicolor, está en Ravelry, y está escrito en castellano e inglés. Cometí el error de usar el patrón en castellano y buscar el nombre del punto lo que me llevó a hacer el equivocado. Quedé super desconforme con la primera versión así que hice un segundo gato.   I made my second amigurumi as a Christmas gift request for my niece, Emilia. Para Navidad decidí hacerme un regalito a partir del molde tapado de descarga gratis de Manos a la Aguja. Patricia, dueña de la marca es diseñadora y profesora de costura y subió este molde para quien quisiera hacerlo. Usé tela India de algodón delgadito estampada a mano. Hacía mucho tiempo que quería hacer algo con ella y me vino de perilla.  For Christmas I decided to give myself a little gift based on the free downloadable Kimono pattern by Manos a la Aguja. Patricia, owner of the brand is a designer and sewing teacher and she uploaded this pattern for whoever wanted to make it. I used one of my Indian hand-dyed cotton fabrics. I loved making this, it is so cute! This pattern is a great stashbuster and considering it is Christmas also a great stocking stuffer. The pattern belongs to Kate Wood, and you can find it on Ravelry .  I used about an ounce and a half to make it. I normally make baby sweaters to get rid of leftover yarn but this was too cute to pass. There's a list of amigurumis I'd like to try but I may have to make an entire school of these, I love it so much. ¡Me encantó hacer este amigurumi, es adorable! Este patrón es súper útil para deshacerse de restos de lana. Considerando que es navidad, también es un buen relleno para calcetines navideños (de esos que en EEUU se cuelgan en las chimeneas). Normalmente uso los restos para hacer pequeños suéters pero este pez era demasiado tierno para pasarlo por alto. Here's another reversible apron made for one of my sisters (we're four) for Christmas. This one is for cooking. I used Indian hand-printed cotton fabrics in matching colors. You will need: 2 pieces 33in x 31in. 2 pieces 10.5in x 12.5in. 4 pieces 2in x 30in. 1 piece 1in x 30in. 1. Fold one piece of fabric in half length-wise and mark from the middle 3in at the top. Then, mark 13 from the middle going down 10in from the top). This is the corner that will go under the armpit.Join both points with a curved line (this will go from the top of the apron to the rib cage under the armpit). Keep the 13in from the middle all the way to the bottom end of the fabric and cut.  Aquí hay otro delantal reversible hecho para otra de mis hermanas (somos cuatro) para navidad. Aquí hay otro regalo de navidad hecho para una de mis hermanas. Ella tiene una huerta, así que decidí diseñar un delantal reversible que pudiese ser usado por un lado para jardinear y por el otro para recolectar. Usé telas de algodón estampado que me regaló mi madre hace un tiempo, así que eso fue lo que determinó el tamaño del proyecto. Para hacerlo más firme y para que los bolsillos fuesen lindos por fuera y por dentro, usé algodón doble.  Tela usada:  2 rectángulos de 69 x 60cms. 2 rectángulos de 50 x 38cms. 4 cuadrados de 24 x 23cms. 1 tira larga de 8 x 178cms.
