Goodbye Blogspot, hello website! // Adiós Blogspot, ¡hola página web!
Three years ago I wrote my first post on Blogspot. I wanted to to upload my creative journey: the patterns I was knitting, things I was sewing, and my own creations, while working on my full time job, Casa California . We were closed for many months during the pandemic which gave me lots of time to figure out what was going to happen with the business, my life in general, and my crafty self. I delved deeper into knitting design, and months later I published my first "pro" design in Revista La Hebra (my second design with them will be coming out their third edition, woot woot!). I'm super exited about it. So it's kind of the end of an era. I turned 41, put my ideas out into the world and moved from my cute blogspot to AlicantaKnits.com (shoutout to my sister Cali for helping me with the site and photos).
